Phuket has many attractions one can discover either on day trips or longer. The beaches are by far the biggest attraction to Phuket because it has many beaches for one to explore. You can keep yourself busy for the entire year, with the many attractions in Phuket, others not just the beaches however.
Day trips can be very funny. I had a long tail boat and rented for the many different islands, which are about thirty minute boat ride through the various piers distanceisland. It is not difficult, a long tail boat, like many of the beaches, you are placed just off the coast. A one-day trip is very inexpensive and easy to remember a time when life was simple and direct.
Rubber tree plantations are abundant on the island and observe and learn from the locals make latex rubber trees is educational and interesting. If you find that you want to exit from places average touristPhuket Town has some interesting shows and live entertainment. It also has some great festivals like the vegetarian festival and Chinese New Year.
Now I have lived on the island for several years and grow up to call Phuket Home. The island is more than just a tourist destination, is a great place to live.
